The trade openness, expressed as the ratio of the sum of exports and imports to GDP, is an indicator of how effective foreign trade on the country’s economy. In the study, the relationship of trade openness with inflation and growth is tested by panel data analysis method. The findings of Westerlund 2007 cointegration test showed that there was a long run cointegration relationship between the series. Emirmahmutoğlu and Köse 2011 causality test were used for causality analysis. According to the results obtained from the test, there is a bi-directional causality relationship between trade openness and economic growth. There is a one-way causality relationship between inflation and trade openness, from inflation to trade openness
