ENDÜSTRİ İŞLETMELERİNDE KAİZEN ÇALIŞMALARININ ETKİNLİKLERİNİN VERİ ZARFLAMA ANALİZİ İLE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract




Kaizen uygulamaları, işletmelerde küçük
adımlarla sürekli iyileştirme olanağı sağlayan araçlar olarak tanımlanmaktadır.
İşletmelerde yapılan iyileştirme çalışmaları başta maliyetli olarak görünse de,
sonuçta işletmeye kazandıracağı olumlu gelişmeler değerlendirildiğinde faydalı
görülmektedir. Uygulamada Kaizen çalışmalarının değerlendirilmesi için fayda –
maliyet analizinden yararlanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Kaizen uygulamalarının
performans değerlemesi için Veri Zarflama Analizi kullanılmaktadır. Bir üretim
işletmesinde hali hazırda aktif olan Hızlı, Standart ve Majör Kaizen olmak
üzere 31 Kaizen uygulaması ele alınarak birbirlerine göre göreceli etkinlikleri
ortaya koyulmuştur. 2 Majör Kaizen, 2 Standart Kaizen olarak 4 Kaizen etkin
skor değerine sahip çıkmıştır. Farklı Kaizen türleri kendi içlerinde
değerlendirmeye alındığında ise bu sayılarda ve etkin skor değerlerinde
değişiklikler meydana gelmiştir.
