Abstract
Dergi
yönetim politikalarının önemi, dijital yayıncılık akımı içinde gün geçtikçe
artmaktadır. Çalışmada Web of Science veri tabanına dayalı atıf analizi
yardımıyla Tarih ve Arkeoloji alanındaki güncel bilimsel işbirlikleri ve
gelişmekte olan konular bibliyometrik analiz yardımıyla ortaya konulmuştur.
Analiz sonucunda Tarih ve Arkeoloji alanlarının yayın dinamikleri açısından iki
farklı disiplin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bibliyometrik yöntemin önemi ve
uygunluğunu ortaya koymak için Belleten
dergisi örnek vaka olarak incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda yayın dinamikleri ve
kaynak kullanım özellikleri açısından diğer disiplinlerden farklı özelliklere
sahip olan sosyal ve beşeri bilimlerdeki dergilerin görülebilirlik açısından
yapması gerekenler, gibi geleceğe yönelik yeni yayın stratejileri
önerilmiştir.

Abstract
The importance of scholarly journal management policies is increasing
day by day in the digital publishing trend. In the study, with the help of the
citation analysis based on the Web of Science database, up-to-date scientific
collaborations and emerging issues in the field of History and Archeology have
been put forward via bibliometric analysis. As a result of the analysis, it is
concluded that the fields of History and Archeology have two different
disciplines in terms of publication dynamics. The Belleten has been studied as a case study in order to demonstrate
the relevance and suitability of the bibliometrics. As a result of the study,
new publishing strategies have been proposed for the future, such as the
necessity of visibility of publications in social and human sciences, which
have different characteristics from other disciplines in terms of publication
dynamics and resource utilization characteristics.
