Bir İçerik Analizi Örneği: Güzin Abla Köşesine Gelen Mektuplar Ve Bu Mektuplara Verilen Yanıtların İncelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı; bir gazetenin "Güzin Abla Köşesi"ne gelen okuyucu mektuplarının başvuran kişiye ait kişisel özellikler, sorun alanları ve verilen yazılı yanıtların yardım becerileri yönünden analiz edilmesidir. Araştırmanın evreni 1999-2007 yılları arasında gazeteye gelen okuyucu mektupları ve bu mektuplara verilen yazılı yanıtlardır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise yansız örnekleme yöntemi seçilmiş toplam 94 okuyucu mektubu ve bunlara verilen yanıtlardır. Yapılan incelemede, Güzin Abla Köşesine başvuranların çoğunluğunun kadın ve bekar olduğu bulunmuştur. Grubun yaş dağılımları 14-50 arasında değişmektedir. Sorun alanları açısında incelendiğinde bireylerin % 55'i duygusal ilişkiler, % 17'si evlilik ilişkilerinde yaşanan problemler nedeniyle Güzin Abla Köşesine başvurdukları belirlenmiştir. Demografik değişkenlere göre yapılan incelemede ise bekar kişilerin kadın erkek ilişkilerde yaşanan sorunlar ile Güzin Abla Köşesine başvurdukları görülmektedir. Mektuplara verilen yanıtlar yardım becerileri açısından incelendiğinde cümlelerin % 18'sinin tavsiye, % 16'sının yorum, % 9'nun bilgi verme içerdiği belirlenmiştir.
A Content Analysis: Letters of the Reades Coming to the Corner of Güzin Abla and the Analysis of the Written Letters
Abstract
The aim of this study was the investigation of the letters of the readers coming to the corner of Güzin Abla in the newspaper in term of the demographical variables, problem areas, belonging to the person who applies for, and the written answers giyen to these letters from the aspect of the helping skills. The sample of the investigation is the letters of readers coming to the newspaper between the years of 1999 and 2007 and written answers giyen to these letters. The sample of study was 94 letters of readers and written answers giyen to these letters. The result of the examination realized that the majority of the people who applied for corner of Güzin Abla were females and singles. The age of the group was ranged from 14 to 50. When letters were examined in terms of the aspect of problems areas, it was found that 55 % of the people applied for had the problems related to the emotional relationships, 17 % had problems about the marriage. When whether or not there was a difference among the problems areas according to demographical variables was evaluated, it was determined that the female who was between 20 and 30 years applied for the corner of Güzin Abla, mainly with emotional problems. When the answers giyen to the letters were examined from the aspect of the helping skills, it was found that 18 % included recommendations, 16 % contained comments, 9 % were information.
