Sosyal Bilimlerin Odağındaki Bir Konu Olan Sosyalleşmenin Disiplinlerarası Doğasının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Sosyalleşme bir bireyin toplumun kültürünü edinme sürecidir. Bu amaçla toplum, bireyi kendi değer, amaç, inanç ve idealleri doğrultusunda biçimlendirmektedir. Bu biçimlenme sonucunda birey toplumsal bir varlık olmaktadır. Başka bir anlatımla birey, zihinsel ve duygusal olarak belli bir dönüşüme uğramakta ve bu dönüşüm de kültürün istediği yönde olmaktadır. Bunun bir sonucu olarak her kültür, kendi sosyalleşme sürecini (sosyal ilişki ile pratikler) bireylere eğitim aracılığıyla kazandırmaktadır. Bireylerin sosyal ilişki ve pratikleri Hayat Bilgisi ve Sosyal Bilgiler gibi disiplinlerarası dersler aracılığıyla geliştirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Bu derslerin yapı ve amaçları incelendiğinde, derslerin sosyalleşme olgusunu işlediği görülmektedir. Buna rağmen sosyalleşmenin disiplinlerarası doğasını konu alan çalışmaların az olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmalarda sosyalleşmenin bir ders bağlamında disiplinlerarası yapısı vurgulanmış olmasına rağmen sosyalleşme, disiplinlerarası desenler bağlamında incelenmemiş ve sosyalleşmeye ilişkin örnek ünite/ler tasarlanmamıştır. Bu nedenle çalışmanın amacı alanyazın bağlamında sosyalleşmeyi, disiplinlerarası desenler bağlamında inceleyerek sosyalleşmeye ilişkin örnek bir ünite tasarısı sunmaktır. Bunun için çeşitli yazılı dokümanlar incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemelerde, sosyalleşme ile bu kavramın odağındaki konuların (örneğin deprem gibi) disiplinlerarası öğretime uygun olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuca dayanarak sosyalleşmenin disiplinlerarası standartları karşılayan, bütünsel bir yapısının olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Investigation of the Interdisciplinary Nature of Socialization, a Subject at the Focus of Social Sciences

Abstract

Socialization is the process by which an individual acquires the culture of the society. For this purpose, society transforms the individual in line with its own values, goals, beliefs and ideals. As a result of this transformation, the individual becomes a social being. In other words, the individual undergoes a certain transformation mentally and emotionally, and this transformation takes place in the direction that the culture wants. As a result, each culture imparts its own socialization process (social relations and practices) to individuals through education. The social relations and practices of individuals are tried to be developed through interdisciplinary courses such as Life Science and Social Studies. When the structure and purposes of these courses are examined, it is seen that the courses deal with the phenomenon of socialization. Despite this, it was determined that there were few studies on the interdisciplinary nature of socialization. Although the interdisciplinary structure of socialization is emphasized in the context of a course in these studies, socialization is not examined in the context of interdisciplinary patterns and sample units/s related to socialization are not designed. For this reason, the aim of the study is to examine socialization in the context of interdisciplinary patterns in the context of literature and to design an exemplary unit on socialization. For this, various written documents were examined. In the investigations, it was concluded that socialization and the subjects at the focus of this concept (such as earthquakes) were suitable for interdisciplinary teaching.
