İŞ YERİ DIŞLAMASI VE KİŞİLİK ÖZELLİKLERİ: BİR DERLEME ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Bu araştırma, iş yeri dışlaması değişkeni ile ilişki içerisinde olan kişilik özellikleri değişkenlerini ortaya koymayı ve incelenen ilişkileri nedensellik çerçevesinde açıklamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde iş yeri dışlamasının hangi kişilik özelliğinin iş yeri dışlamasının çıktısı olduğu ve hangilerinin öncülü olduğu gibi iş yeri dışlaması ile kişilik özelliklerine dair ilişkilerin özellikleri incelenmiştir. Önce Beş Faktör Kuramı çerçevesinde beş büyük kişilik özelliği ile iş yeri dışlama davranışı arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Sonrasında diğer kişilik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Toplam 12 kişilik özelliği incelenmiş, bunlardan 4’ü iş yeri dışlamasının öncülü ve 6’sı iş yeri dışlamasının çıktısı olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. 12 kişilik özelliğinden 9 tanesinin de iş yeri dışlaması değişkenine dair ilişkiler üzerinde moderatör veya aracı değişken etkisi gözlemlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, iş yeri dışlaması değişkeni içeren bir çalışmaya karar vermiş olan araştırmacılara yok gösterecektir. Ayrıca bu çalışma iş yeri politikası belirlemek isteyen yöneticilere de yardımcı olabilir.
